Be Green, Be Eco Friendly

We, at Connected Computers LLC take this matter seriously. We encourge our staff and our customers to preserve the environment by:

• Increase electronic communications (this has cut our paper consumption by 45%)
• Recycle old computers. All computers or computer products we upgrade we remove the old items, and we either:
  
  • Refurbish them and donate them to schools, low income families or to religious organizations.
    
  • All UPS (battery backup) batteries replaced are shipped to baterry recycling facilities.
    
  • Old computers, that can't be fixed are collected and delivered to computer disposal centers.
• Encourage customers to use document management systems to eliminate creation and storage of paper and cabinets
• Always recommend energy star compliant components to cut on power consumption
• Encourage customers to turn off systems at night and weekends.
